Embarking on the Coaching Journey: My First Blog Post

Today marks the beginning of an exciting chapter as I take my first steps into the world of blogging for my professional coaching. To be honest, starting this blog felt like a daunting task—I've never written a blog before and wasn’t entirely sure where to begin or what content would resonate with readers like you.

So why create a website and start blogging while still in training? Because I believe in the power of possibility. We can achieve anything when we set our minds to it. This belief is not just about coaching others but also about coaching myself, to inspire confidence and growth in both you and me. My goal is to help you reach your dreams and ambitions, and to do that, I need to model the very perseverance and courage I encourage in my clients.

Through this blog, I aim to share my journey toward becoming a qualified coaching professional. I'll explore topics that matter to you—goal setting, overcoming challenges, and personal growth—while being transparent about my own learning process. Just like you, I don’t have all the answers yet, but I am committed to finding them.

Together, let’s embrace this journey with openness and curiosity. Here’s to achieving our goals and unlocking our full potential!

Stay tuned for more insights and stories as I navigate this path alongside you. Let's believe in ourselves and each other!

The Rollercoaster of Learning: Dyslexia, Neurodivergence, and Small Victories

Let’s talk about a little thing called life, where challenges and triumphs go hand in hand, making the journey worth every twist and turn. Today, I want to share my experience from the ongoing adventure of becoming a professional coach, with all its quirks and moments of discovery.

A not-so-secret fact about me: I struggle with reading. Yes, you read that right. Whether it's the words swirling in my mind or fumbling out loud, it's been a bit of a wild ride. But guess what? Being on this coaching course has opened a door for me—a door I didn’t even know I needed to open.

Recently, I took a cognitive test through my course, and surprise, I have dyslexia, along with some other neurodivergent traits. Learning this was like finding a key to a puzzle. It didn’t change who I am, but it gave me insights into why things have always felt a bit trickier for me.

Today, I’m celebrating a small yet mighty victory: successfully completing my second module. It took time, effort, and plenty of deep breaths, but the relief? Oh, it’s sweet. Like finishing a marathon with confetti raining down and a crowd cheering you on.

One major takeaway from this journey: Never be afraid to raise your hand and say, “Hey, I don’t understand this.” Help is out there, but people aren’t mind readers. Whether you face similar challenges or different ones, asking for help doesn’t make you weak—it makes you smart and brave.

So here’s to all of us on our unique learning paths. Let’s keep pushing forward, celebrating every win, no matter how small, and always seeking the support we need.
